WHAT MAKES A GREAT SPORTS CAMP?

What makes a GREAT SPORTS CAMP?

C  1.  Terrific Staff:  We have an excellent Staff of Instructors/Coaches who are educated and experienced Teachers. They are very nurturing  in the way they work with our  Campers.  One of the qualifications for our Staff is that they enjoy working with children.
     2.  Safety is our highest priority.  Our Staff are with our Campers, even when they go to the bathroom or get a drink of water.
     3.  Age appropriate activities:  We divide our Campers into groups, based on age and skill level.
     4.  Diverse, FUN activities:  We offer a wide range of sports, games and other activities so that the Campers have FUN all day long.  They  have the opportunity to learn and enhance their skills with 3-5 Sports per day (that include Baseball/T-Ball, Basketball, Flag Football, Soccer, Tennis, Volleyball/Prisoner Ball and others.  They get great instruction, drills, fun activities and Mini-Games.   Other FUN activities can  include Capture the Flag, Relay Races with Obstacle Courses, Martial Arts, as well as others.
     5.  Structure: Our Camps are structured but with just the right amount of supervised "free play" so that Campers have an opportunity to get to know  other Campers and develop friends.
     6.  Mini-Olympics:  Our Campers look forward to our Friday Mini-Olympics that include activities and games that they learned/practiced during the week; and where they “earn” tickets for Prizes.  Our goals are participation with some competition (based on age and skills)
     7. Contingency Plan:  We will utilize Indoor Space  at Marine Park during our Spring Camps if the weather is cold/rainy.
     8. 5 Star Sport Goals:  Safety, Fun & Skill Development while Inspiring, Motivating, Educating & Empowering Students!
